أَرَءَيۡتَ ٱلَّذِي يُكَذِّبُ بِٱلدِّينِ
TransliterationAraayta alladhee yukaththibu biddeen
Translation · Saheeh InternationalHave you seen the one who denies the Recompense
o you recognise the one who rejects the requital on the Day of Judgement?
فَذَٰلِكَ ٱلَّذِي يَدُعُّ ٱلۡيَتِيمَ
TransliterationFathalika alladhee yaduAAAAu al-yateem
Translation · Saheeh InternationalFor that is the one who drives away the orphan
t is the one who harshly turns away the orphan when in need.
وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلۡمِسۡكِينِ
TransliterationWalā yaḥuddu AAalā ṭaAAāmi al-miskeen
Translation · Saheeh InternationalAnd does not encourage the feeding of the poor
e does not encourage himself nor others in feeding the poor.
فَوَيۡلٞ لِّلۡمُصَلِّينَ
TransliterationFawaylun lilmuṣalleen
Translation · Saheeh InternationalSo woe to those who pray
o destruction and punishment be upon those who perform prayer.
ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ عَن صَلَاتِهِمۡ سَاهُونَ
TransliterationAlladheena hum AAan ṣalātihim sāhoon
Translation · Saheeh International[But] who are heedless of their prayer
hose who are heedless of their prayer; they do not care about it such that its time expires.
ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ يُرَآءُونَ
TransliterationAlladheena hum yurāoon
Translation · Saheeh InternationalThose who make show [of their deeds]
hose who show off by their prayer and good deeds, not being sincere in doing deeds for Allah.
وَيَمۡنَعُونَ ٱلۡمَاعُونَ
TransliterationWayamnaAAoona al-māAAoon
Translation · Saheeh InternationalAnd withhold [simple] assistance
nd they refrain from helping others with things in which there is no difficulty helping in.
