قُلۡ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ
TransliterationQul yā ay-yuhā al-kāfiroon
Translation · Saheeh InternationalSay, "O disbelievers
ay, O Messenger: O those who disbelieve in Allah!
لَآ أَعۡبُدُ مَا تَعۡبُدُونَ
TransliterationLā aAAbudu mā taAAbudoon
Translation · Saheeh InternationalI do not worship what you worship
do not and will not worship the idols you worship.
وَلَآ أَنتُمۡ عَٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعۡبُدُ
TransliterationWalā antum AAābidoona mā aAAbud
Translation · Saheeh InternationalNor are you worshippers of what I worship
or are you going to worship what I worship, i.e. Allah alone.
وَلَآ أَنَا۠ عَابِدٞ مَّا عَبَدتُّمۡ
TransliterationWalā anā AAābidun mā AAabadtum
Translation · Saheeh InternationalNor will I be a worshipper of what you worship
or am I going to worship the idols you worship.
وَلَآ أَنتُمۡ عَٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعۡبُدُ
TransliterationWalā antum AAābidoona mā aAAbud
Translation · Saheeh InternationalNor will you be worshippers of what I worship
or are you going to worship what I worship, i.e. Allah alone.
لَكُمۡ دِينُكُمۡ وَلِيَ دِينِ
TransliterationLakum deenukum waliya deen
Translation · Saheeh InternationalFor you is your religion, and for me is my religion
ou have your religion you thought up for yourselves, and I have my religion that Allah revealed to me.
